All spruced up thanks to recent repairs by Thomas Horsley of Boy Scout Troop #44 and Zanzitis Painting, the historic venue has never looked better.  Nor has the member of the board responsible for preserving it been more excited to restore the treasured tradition of the Strawberry Social.  Board president Erwin Harbat proudly reports that a handicapped accessible ramp is also now available for use thanks to Anna Lauricella who built it for her Girl Scout Gold Award.  The Schoolhouse has hosted its annual fundraiser for almost 100 years, inviting the entire community to gather for strawberry shortcake, ice cream, live music and fun for all ages.  Admission is $10.00 for adults and children; children 5 and younger are free. 100% of the proceeds from the festival benefit the upkeep of the historic property.
